- Aira customers can save up to 90% on their energy bills
- Its tariff-agnostic optimisation capability works with the Aira Home Energy System
- Aira can optimise its heat pump performance in real time
Clean energy giant Aira has launched Europe’s first tariff-agnostic optimisation capability for heat pumps and home energy systems to provide product optimisation that works across hundreds of energy tariffs.
Customers are now able to synchronise their Aira Heat Pump or Aira Home Energy System with any energy tariff and Aira will optimise performance in real time, using Aira Intelligence (AI) to do so. These tariffs include those designed for electric vehicles, heat pumps, and dynamic tariffs.
The result is an increase in savings of up to 30% when switching from a gas boiler to an Aira Heat Pump and smart tariff. Furthermore, when upgrading to the full Aira Home Energy System and smart export and import tariffs, you can expect to save up to 90%.
When switching from a fixed tariff to a smart tariff, Aira Heat Pump customers can save up to 23% on energy bills, and customers with the full home energy system can save up to 67%.
The tariff-agnostic optimisation capability also allows for more flexibility and control over your household energy consumption and bills, as well as greater system insights.
Anthony Loizeau, Aira Group CEO, said: “We are proud to be the first clean energy tech
installer to offer optimisation against any tariff for our heat pump and Aira Home Energy System customers.
“At a time when energy can feel complex and out of people’s control, new intelligence features like this unlock real savings and put the power back into people’s hands.”
As dynamic tariffs are becoming more popular across Europe, Aira’s products aim to adapt alongside the energy market, helping to evolve sustainability standards through low-carbon technologies.
There is also an ever growing number of dynamic and time-of-use tariffs available across the UK. Rather than being locked into a single tariff or energy provider for the lifetime of a product, this integration removes that barrier, allowing customers to choose the tariff that works best for them and switch if or when they’re not satisfied. AI does the rest.
As part of the launch, Aira has also introduced new optimisation capabilities to the Aira Home Energy app.
Kaj af Kleen, Aira chief product and tech officer, said that Aira is giving its customers unparalleled choice and “optimising in real time across hundreds of tariffs with Aira’s intelligence”.
Kleen continued: “Historically, heat pump optimisation was limited to a small set of tariffs from specific providers, reducing flexibility.
“This is a future-proof solution that adapts as energy markets evolve, removing complexity and increasing savings potential for people across Europe.”
