Navien, a heating solutions provider based in South Korea, has released a range of new air source heat pumps that are designed to easily integrate with existing residential heating systems and operate remotely.

It also said the new air source heat pumps are packed with features to make it simpler than ever to install and integrate, control and operate.
This includes making fitting easier and enabling remote monitoring via an app; it is also designed to make less noise and has a a refrigerant with lower global warming potential.
The system is available in five varieties and has heating capacities of 4kW, 6kW, 8kW, 10kW and 17kW.
The 4kW system measures 1,116mm x 445m x 800mm and weighs 105kg. The 17kW has a size of 1,247mm x 540mm x 1,332mm and weighs 205kg.

Navien added that the heat pump can achieve a seasonal coefficient of performance of up to 4.79 and flow temperatures of up to 75C.
The heat pump can operate at temperatures ranging from -25C and 43C, with sound levels up to 63dB(A).
It comes with a seven-year warranty and the company said the heat pump is ideal for both new builds and retrofits.
