Hereford Solar Panels

County Flag of Herefordshire

In an effort to harvest the energy supplied by the average 1,350 annual hours of sunshine they receive, Herefordshire Council have recently announced a project to install PV solar panels to 36 council owned properties in Hereford and the surrounding area.

Structural studies are now underway to determine the suitability of the libraries, leisure centres, offices and schools which are being considered for inclusion in the eco-friendly, financially rewarding initiative. The announcement was made during the 10th Anniversary Party held by local PV solar specialists, Green Earth Energy.

The aforementioned Green Earth Energy are based on the Westwood Industrial Estate in Pontrilas and have an extensive portfolio of projects. Their previous installations, which include churches, village halls, barns and even a listed castle, range from locally based sites, throughout Herefordshire, Wales and the southwest.

They prefer to work in collaboration with their customers to determine the best possible solar solution for their specific requirements. They will guide the process from the initial survey and design to the installation and connection of the system and will be happy to offer advice with planning applications and incentive schemes.

Green Earth Energy holds both REA (Renewable Energy Assurance) and MCS (Microgeneration scheme) accreditation and retains their independence from any particular solar technology manufacturer, allowing them to recommend the optimum components for the job.
